Rome, December 29 – The number of patients treated with Covid in the usual wards of Italian hospitals is increasing: in 24 hours there has been an increase in more or less 15 Regions and Autonomous Provinces, according to the latest data from the National Sanitary Service (Agenas). on the evening of December 27th. And – against a fixed national average of 15%, the maximum bed occupancy in non-critical medical departments – 11 Regions and Autonomous Provinces exceed: Calabria (28%), Friuli Venezia Giulia (22%), Lazio (16% ), Liguria (28%), Marche (21%), Bolzano (18%), Trento (17%), Sicily (18%), Valle d’Aosta (31%) and Veneto (18%).
In terms of the increase in hospitalizations in the 24-hour period, the highest was recorded in the province of Bolzano, with +3 percentage points: on December 26 the price was exactly at the limit of 15%, yesterday it jumped to 18%. Umbria records + 2%, while + 1% is observed in Abruzzo, Basilicata, Campania, Emilia Romagna, Lazio, Liguria, Lombardy, Molise, Piedmont, Sicily, Tuscany, Valle d’Aosta.
