When I tried them for the first time I was amazed at how good they were! I said to myself: “Wow! But are they really chickpeas? “. If I hadn’t cooked them I would have doubted that they were because they have a unique and very tasty flavor. And since we are in the year of the European football championships and I often have friends over for dinner to watch the Italian national team match together, I like to delight these moments with something unique that can surprise everyone.
So when I served the crispy baked chickpeas, I caught everyone’s attention so much that the football match almost took a back seat … 😉 I’ll tell you the secret to making them crunchy and irresistible: let them cook in the oven for 30 minutes at a constant temperature and then grill the last ones 3 minutes.
