When I tried them for the first time I was amazed at how good they were! I said to myself: “Wow! But are they really chickpeas? “. If I hadn’t cooked them I would have doubted that they were because they have a unique and very tasty flavor. And since we are in the year of the European football championships and I often have friends over for dinner to watch the Italian national team match together, I like to delight these moments with something unique that can surprise everyone.

Crispy baked chickpeas

Try the crispy baked chickpeas for a vegan and gluten-free snack, rich in flavor or even for a savory hunger breaker!

Cooking time 30 minutes


  1. Remove the chickpea water from the box and rinse well under running water. Dry the chickpeas with absorbent paper and place in a large bowl.

  2. Add to the chickpeas: the flour, the paprika, the mix of chopped, salted and peppered herbs. Mix everything to mix well.

  3. Oil the bottom of a baking sheet and pour the chickpeas. Add the 4 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil directly on the chickpeas. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 ° static mode for 30 minutes. For the last 3 minutes, turn on the grill and let it brown.

  4. Remove from the oven, let it cool and serve! They can also be served cold and prepared a few hours in advance.
