Rome, December 21 – The rise in new transmission cases favored by the Omicron variant of the SARS Cov 2 virus has led to a proliferation of requests for tampons from citizens, especially in pharmacies, who often find it difficult to deal with the service in many cases across the country. . The case of Veneto is iconic, where the average number of tests performed daily is around ten thousand units, including vaccination centers and junctions and pharmacies. Above all, however, the latter gathers the most requests, and due to the measure imposed by the regional health company, which reserves its facilities only to the health workers (who, moreover, by passing to its yellow zone in the Region, have to repeat the test every four days and no longer every 10) and in people with symptoms or undergoing tracking, thus “forcing” the unvaccinated public to take tests elsewhere in order to obtain temporary green cards.
